So, you know how everybody has that song that, to them, is the best song in the world and gives them so many plot bunnies and could spend hours just listening to that song over and over while other people nod and try their best not to grimace at their choice of music? XD And, not to mention, this song, the song, might change as frequently as the wind for some, and stay the same for years for another. Mine's changed recently from being the same one for years. XD In an attempt to gather more (and, hopefully, unique ones, too, from the different music) plot bunnies to my attic of a brain, I was wondering if anybody would be so kind as to share their song. The one that is currently your inspiration. Or just your favorite song. I dunno. Share anyway! I'd like to listen.

I'm in the mood for some fun. :> Here are a few favorites... - Set Fire to the Third Bar - Snow Patrol
I'm miles from where you are I lay down on the cold ground And I, I pray that something picks me up And sets me down in your warm arms
This song is always going to have a niche in my heart because I listened to it for a full two hours while reading Twist and Shout for the first time. It fits the fic perfectly. I think of it every time I listen to this song.
- I'm Still Here - Johnny Rzeznik (From "Treasure Planet")
And I want a moment to be real, Wanna touch things I don't feel, Wanna hold on and feel I belong. And how can the world want me to change, They’re the ones that stay the same. The don’t know me, 'Cause I’m not here.
I don't care what anyone says. This is Dean's song. FEELINGS.
- The Boxer - Simon and Garfunkel
In the clearing stands a boxer/And a fighter by his trade And he carries the reminders/Of ev'ry glove that layed him down Or cut him till he cried out/In his anger and his shame "I am leaving, I am leaving"/But the fighter still remains
Likewise, this is Sammy's song. Fighting not only everything around him, but himself. *blows nose loudly*
- Lullabies - All Time Low
Make it a sweet, sweet goodbye - it could be for the last time and it's not right. "Don't let yourself get in over your head," he said. Alone and far from home we'll find you...
Wow...just, I...this is made of feelings...
- Such Great Heights - Postal Service
They will see us waving from such great Heights, 'come down now,' they'll say But everything looks perfect from far away, 'come down now,' but we'll stay...
This song is bittersweetly fluffy. If I think too hard about it, I think about Dean and Cas saying goodbye to each other and...sorry, I need a tissue...
That's probably more than you wanted, but these are my top tear-jerking-heart-stopping-angst-inspiring-soul-crushing songs. :'>

Eek! I think it's worth mentioning Angeles by Steve Carlson ft. Jensen Ackles. For obvious reasons.

*pokes Cas* Such Great Heights gives me Fax feels, not Destiel feels. But meh.
Anywho.
Howard's Tale - Sick Puppies I love this song. And uh. It's kinda disturbing. But I love the first two watchamacallits. Gave me a really small idea for a fic. Didn't write it though. Age five, just a little boy shy. Is he ready for the big surprise? He'll be playing Lego in a dream when the shadows come to life. Age nine, and he should've been fine with a secret he's sure to keep. Two times had to tell a little lie for the sake of him and me. (later in the song.....) Nineteen and he's innocently parked right beside a school. He stares a boy sitting there, and the boy stares at him too. He walks over, he needs closure.
Evil Angel - Breaking Benjamin Just got the cd that this song is on for my birthday. I absolutely love it. I've listened to literally nothing but that cd since I put it on my iPod. Anyway. Gives me depressing Destiel plotbunnies. (Album is called Phobia, in case anyone was wondering.) Put me to sleep, evil angel. Open your wings, evil angel. Fly over me, evil angel. Why can't I breathe, evil angel?
Anna Sun - Walk the Moon No feels or ideas or anything. I just absolutely positively love this song. Its beautiful and will, no matter what, put a smile on my face. Dunno why. It's not a particularly happy song. What do you know? This house is falling apart. What can I say? This house is falling apart. We got no money, but we got heart. We're gonna rattle this ghost town. This house is falling apart.
The Diary of Jane - Breaking Benjamin This is the reason I wanted Phobia. I love this song. It's amazing and awesome and amazing. Pretty much every song on this album (not including Intro and Outro) gave me an idea for a Supernatural fic. Yeah. I need a life. Desperate I will crawl, waiting for so long. No love, there is no love. Die for anyone, what have I become?

Just finished reading Twist and Shout a little while ago... I cried. But then I started listening to Anna Sun, so I was all good. BUT THEN I LISTENED TO MISS ATOMIC BOMB BY THE KILLERS, AND I STARTED CRYING AGAIN. Making out, we've got the radio on. You're gonna miss me when I'm gone. You're gonna miss me when I'm gone. Racing shadows in the moonlight. Taking chances on a hot night. And for a second there, we'd won. Yeah, we were innocent and young. The dust cloud has settled and my eyes are clear. But sometimes in dreams of impact, I still hear.

Hmm... mine would be 'Harbor Lights' by A Silent Film. Robert Stevenson has such a good voice... *strokes monitor*
