As I write this post, this forum is currently a baby. I hope that eventually it'll grow, but for now, it's small and barren. Even the first people to join are only newbies at the moment.
Anyway, I wanted to explain to you how the forum works.
The main rules are -
1. Don't be a dick.
2. Please at least attempt correct spelling and grammar, save for tumblr rage-speak, excite-speak, all-caps, no-caps, and occasional abbreviations.
3. Don't be a dick.
4. Try not to trigger the apocalypse; it wouldn't suit you.
5. My name, 'Jaskolski', is practically spelled phonetically. JAS-KOHL-SKI. Don't get into the habit of pronouncing it wrong, or I may just have to slap you with a fish.(:
Swearing is obviously allowed, so long as it's not used to bash on someone else, because that counts as being a dick, which is against the rules.
If you insist on being ignorant to my rules, I'll first PM you with a warning. If you remain rebellious, your account will be temporarily disabled, and if that doesn't teach you anything, I'll have to delete your account. I can't imagine that happening with the current board members, but new people are welcome to join, and with new people comes new problems.
What Is Karma?
Karma is a meaningless points system. 'Exalt' is essentially like the 'Like' button on FaceBook, and 'Smite' is like the nonexistant 'Dislike' button. If someone has a lot of Karma points (let's call 'em Karmas for now), you can bet they're quite the amiable young thing. Or old thing, whatever.
How long will I be called a 'Newbie'?
That, my dear, is entirely up to you. The rank system goes like this -

So, basically, the more active you are, the higher your rank.
GIFS/Reaction pics: How use?
Find an image hosting site. I use Photobucket.
Find the picture you want, then look for a 'share' button. From there, look for a 'IMG code' box, and copy what's in that box. Then, paste it where you want it to go in your post. You may need to play around with it a bit.
You could also right click on a picture and select 'Copy image URL' or 'Open in new tab/window' and then copy the URL in the search bar thing, click on the 'Insert Image' icon above the smilies in the post edit thing, and put the URL in between the '![]()
[/img]' thingies.
MY AVATAR WON'T WORK WAAH

You'll want to edit the width and height. Keep in mind, each can only be a maximum of 100 pixels. If that doesn't work, keep trying. If it still doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.
Pictures copied directly from Facebook have a tendency to not work.
There is also a chatroom that can be found in the menu at the top of the screen all the way at the end, by the 'logout' button. No one ever really uses it, but whatever.
That should clear things up a bit. Let me know if there's anything else you're confused about, and I'll add an explanation in to this post.(:
